What to Expect on Sunday Morning

Visiting a new church can be confusing. Figuring out where the Sunday School rooms and nursery are, knowing where to go for coffee, finding parking, meeting new people. . . it  are some of our most asked questions from our visitors.

What time is the service?

Worship Service

  • 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
  • In the Sanctuary
  • Choirs
  • Sunday School

Where do I park and where is the main entrance?

The best place to park is in our parking lot behind the church – accessible through the alley on 35th Avenue SW. However you are welcome to park on the streets around the church – but please respect our neighbors. Handicapped parking is located in the main parking lot.

There are 2 entrances in entrance to Knox Presbyterian.  The main entrance on 37th Street SW , on enter through the back entrance on the alley way from 35th Avenue SW.

What should I wear?

At Knox people wear everything from suits and Sunday dresses to jeans and T-shirts.

We know that God cares more about the inside of a person than what they wear on the outside.

Wear whatever is most comfortable for you.

What does Sunday morning look like for my family?

One to four-year-olds have a special place in the nursery. You are welcome to take them in the nursery anytime, we just ask that you clean you after!

Preschoolers and elementary-age children are welcome in Church Kids begin worship with their parents, and then go to the Lounge for Sunday School. After the service, parents pick their children in their classrooms.

Middle-schoolers and high-schoolers attend their own church school in the Hall.

What happens after the Service?

We hope that you will join us after the service for a conversation and a cup of coffee…or tea, or juice.

What’s the most important thing I can do on Sunday morning?

Make yourself at home.

Worship our Lord and Savior.
