Thank you to everyone who made this day extra special. We saw many familiar faces, and some new ones. This is a yearly tradition for both congregations and know that we will continue for years to come.
We have a new addition to our Sanctuary! The new stole over the cross was created by Maxine Whitehead an artist from Eckville Alberta. The dyed silk-lapp is designed to represent the colours of the Pride Flag and speak for Knox as an Affirming Inclusive church.
Thank you to everyone helped us celebrate our Affirming Church decision the last weekend in October. The performers were spectacular on both Saturday evening and at the Sunday Service.
We are so fortunate to be treated to beautiful music by the BarberEllas! They are joined by the Knox Presbyterian choir, singing ‘Everything Possible’ by Fred Small/arr. Willi Zwozdesky, at our Celebration service morning.

We are very proud of our journey to be an Inclusive Congregation, it is not an easy journey, but well worth our prayers and meditations. If you would like to read how we came together in our decision, you can read Knox Calgary’s Inclusive Journey here.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Bazaar – it was one of our most successful to date.
