WELCOME. 어서 오ì‹ì‹œì˜¤. BIENVENUE.
Knox is an inclusive community that celebrates everyone's unique identity. We believe community is stronger when we are connected. Meeting our neighbours and exploring our neighbourhood is important to us. Through connection we hope to enrich lives and promotes empathy, unity, and acceptance. Studies echo that community connections increase neighbourhood safety, mental and physical wellness, and local economic growth.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work, play and pray on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
The Calgary Foundation has made a Land acknowledgement video that explains the importance of land, why it is necessary to honour it and the original people of the land. We hope you watch the short video and join us in respecting the different original communities of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
Community
We love our community and enjoy partnering with individuals, groups and other organizations to make our community a better place.
Everyone is invited to the local events, activities, and concerts hosted at Knox. We respect everyone's individual beliefs and do not proselytize during community events.
