Knox is an inclusive community that celebrates everyone's unique identity. We believe community is stronger when we are connected. Meeting our neighbours and exploring our neighbourhood is important to us. Through connection we hope to enrich lives and promotes empathy, unity, and acceptance. Studies echo that community connections increase neighbourhood safety, mental and physical wellness, and local economic growth.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work, play and pray on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
The Calgary Foundation has made a Land acknowledgement video that explains the importance of land, why it is necessary to honour it and the original people of the land. We hope you watch the short video and join us in respecting the different original communities of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
We love our community and enjoy partnering with individuals, groups and other organizations to make our community a better place.
Everyone is invited to the local events, activities, and concerts hosted at Knox. We respect everyone's individual beliefs and do not proselytize during community events.
Currently we are offering in-person worship without any capacity limits, although we still recommend wearing a mask and physically distancing.
If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home and watch our services online and participate in events via Zoom when available.

What's New at Knox?
Rug Hooking at Knox!
Every Thursday from 1:30pm-3:30pm, Knox will be hosting a rug hooking session for everyone to enjoy. No experience needed!
The Rug-Hooking group is currently on break, and will resume August 4.
Cafe at Knox
Join us every Thursday morning from 10:00am - noon for some coffee and cafe goodies.
During the summer months, we are open for Tuesday morning 10:00am- noon for a Cafe on the Lawn (weather permitting)

Drop-in fee is $7.
Free Libraries & Pantry
Share your favourite reads, pick up some new stories.
Drop off non-perishables in the pantry, or pick up supplies if you or a neighbour needs anything.
Plant Swap Community Event
Join us at Knox Presbyterian for a community Plant Swap!
Bring your healthy house plants to the church on August 13, 2022, 2-4pm.
Find good homes for extra plants or a new friend for your indoor garden!
Friday Evening Bible Study
Starting July 29, at 7pm, there will be an opportunity for informal Bible Study at Knox Church. Attendance available online or via Zoom. Together we will read scripture and engage in some informal discussion.
People of all faiths are welcome and Knox is a safe and fulling affirming space for everyone of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.
